Reflexology is an ancient therapy dating back thousands of years. It's performed by focusing on reflex points in your hands and feet, although most clients prefer to just have footwork done. Paying close attention to these specific reflex (pressure) points on your feet, it is believed to correlate to specific organs and glands in the body, and promotes a deep relaxation as well as releases pain. By stimulating these pressure points, this technique can be used to help promote health and wellness throughout the entire body. Some clients who wouldn't normally like a traditional massage, enjoy this therapy as its only on the feet, and they still get the benefits of full body relaxation. As like other massages, Reflexology can be a lighter relaxing touch or a firmer therapeutic pain relieving service, or a mix of both!
